Gold rebounds in Pakistan as per-tola price rises Rs2,400 to Rs412,136

Gold prices rebounded in Pakistan’s local bullion market on Monday, the first trading day of the week, with 24-karat gold rising by Rs2,400 per tola to Rs412,136. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,058 to Rs353,340, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

In the international market, gold also moved higher, gaining $24 to reach $3,896 per ounce, while silver rose by $1 to $50.10 per ounce. The local rebound followed a sharp fall on Saturday, when the per-tola price had dropped by Rs10,800 in a single day, giving jewellery buyers temporary relief before Monday’s recovery.

Gold remains sensitive to global prices, currency movements and local demand, and daily sarafa rates can differ slightly between cities. Buyers are usually advised to confirm the day’s rate with a local jeweller before a purchase, as making charges are separate from the quoted bullion rate. This report records published prices only and is not investment advice.
