Rawalpindi board’s second annual intermediate exams begin today

The Intermediate Second Annual Examination 2026 organised by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi began on Tuesday, with all arrangements finalised, board spokesman Arslan Cheema said. The board set up 41 examination centres for the session.

The centres include 17 in Rawalpindi, seven in Attock, four in Chakwal, two in Talagang, five in Jhelum and two in Murree, covering the board’s full jurisdiction. Second annual examinations give students a chance to clear subjects they could not pass earlier or to improve their marks, and the results can affect college admissions and future study plans.

Students appearing in these examinations will also see a change in selected subjects, with E-Sheets introduced for Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science and one further subject from November 3. Families and students should follow the board’s official date sheet and centre notices for timings and instructions rather than relying on social media posts.
