Rupee steady as NBP issues November 3 exchange rates

The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) on Tuesday issued its buying and selling exchange rates for major foreign currencies for settlement on November 3, 2026. The US dollar was quoted at Rs276.60 for buying and Rs277.10 for selling, while the euro stood at Rs309.43 for buying and Rs309.99 for selling.

The British pound was listed at Rs370.81 for buying and Rs371.48 for selling, the Japanese yen at Rs1.7520 and Rs1.7551, and the Chinese yuan at Rs41.48 and Rs41.55. The bank also issued rates for the Swiss franc, Canadian dollar, Australian dollar, Singapore dollar, UAE dirham and other currencies.

These reference rates matter for importers, exporters, travellers and overseas Pakistanis, because they feed into the cost of trade payments, travel and the rupee value of remittances. The dollar’s steady opening, close to recent levels, suggests no sharp overnight move in the currency market at the start of the working week.
