The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast mainly dry weather across most of the country over the next 24 hours, with cold nights expected in the northern areas.
The department said upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir could see cold and partly cloudy conditions, while plains in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan would remain dry. Morning fog was possible in some plain areas.
Daytime temperatures were expected to remain near seasonal levels in most regions, with chilly nights in Murree, Skardu and other hill stations. The PMD advised residents in the north to take precautions against the cold.
