PM orders Daanish Schools built round the clock, with merit-only admission and AI teaching

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to work round the clock on Daanish Schools across the country so the projects finish on time, with no compromise on quality standards. Business Recorder and UrduPoint (APP) reported the directions from a review meeting chaired by the prime minister in Lahore on Saturday.

Admission to Daanish Schools will remain purely merit-based, reserved solely for deserving children from low-income families, the prime minister said, describing spending on the schools as an investment in the country’s future. He directed the integration of artificial intelligence and information technology based teaching methods in students’ education and training, and ordered third-party validation of the quality of infrastructure, facilities and services.

He also instructed the Ministry of Communications to build a superior road network for easy access to Daanish School sites in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and sought a strategy at the earliest for schools in the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Officials briefed the meeting on construction progress in Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sindh and Balochistan. No new admission dates were announced.
