Most parts of Pakistan will see dry weather over the weekend of 31 October and 1 November, with cold mornings and nights in northern areas, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast on Saturday morning. Islamabad will stay dry with cold nights, while northern areas may turn partly cloudy, with light rain or snowfall possible only over high mountains on Sunday. The PMD’s 10:30am forecast put the lowest minimum temperatures at minus 4 degrees Celsius in Leh, minus 1 degree in Skardu and 3 degrees in Astore. In Sindh, the department separately forecast dry and hot daytime conditions over the next 24 hours. In Punjab, including Lahore, dry and sunny days continue, with Lahore’s daytime high around 29 degrees and a low near 18 degrees on Saturday. For the public, the weekend calls for the usual autumn adjustment rather than any rain plan: light warm clothing for mornings and evenings, especially for children and older people, while daytime routines in the plains stay largely unchanged. No widespread rain is indicated in this spell. Sources: Pakistan Meteorological Department (via PKRevenue), 24News, UrduPoint (APP). Written in our own words for information only.
